MEMORANDUM OF CONSIDERATION OF APPLICATION BEFORE THE AFBCMR

SUBJECT:

Having carefully reviewed this application, we agree with the recommendation of the Air
Force office of primary responsibility and adopt the rationale expressed as the basis for our
decision that the applicant has been the victim of either an error or an injustice. Therefore, we
recommend the applicant's records be corrected to show that:

The pertinent military records of the Department of the Air Force relating to
APPLICANT be corrected to show that the abdominal circumference component of his Fitness
Assessment dated 22 May 2012, reflect “exempt” in the Air Force Fitness Management System.

The applicant has been advised of the recommended relief and agrees that it is full and

fitting.

Members of the Board considered this application on 14 May 2013.

If she had been on the correct profile when she completed the June 2011 FA, she would have passed the FA with a 75.5 score and would not have received the referral EPR. DPSID states that based on the AFPC/DPSIM advisory to grant the relief sought to exempt the cardio component of the FA dated 8 June 2011, they contend that the fitness assessment failure is an inappropriate comment on the contested referral EPR, and as a result, the referral EPR should be removed from her record.
